UNDIVIDED WORSHIP
Deuteronomy – remember – 50 times – listen or hear
Shema – Deuteronomy 6:4-9
They asked Jesus – greatest commandment – love God - love your neighbor
I. REMOVE – Deut. 12:1-7
a. Purge the idolatry
b. Utterly destrop
c. Overthrow
d. Break
e. Burn
f. Hewn down
g. Destroy the names
II. WORSHIP – Deut 12:8-14
a. God only – no other gods
b. Jesus only – John 4:21-24
III. Joyful Sacrifice Deut 12:15-19
a. Nothing to distract
b. Whatever it takes to fully see God face to face
IV. STAND FIRM Deut. 12:29-32
a. Guard yourselves
b. Devil is alive and well – main goal is to divided and distract
c. Watch out for pagan influences – guard your mind, house, business
Closing Questions:
1. What idols or distractions do I need to tear down to truly worship HIM?
a. Clean house, horoscopes, games etc
2. How can I make my worship more meaningful?
3. May I be vigilant in to knowing God’s Word and not adding or taking away from it!
